Patrick Lupinski (b. 1984) is a first-generation Polish-American photographer and advertising creative director based in Brooklyn, New York where he resides with his long-term partner and their Burmese cat, Babka. Growing up, Patrick was always around a camera — whether in front of one as a subject for his father, an amateur photographer, or behind it studying composition and lighting.

As his passion for photography developed, Patrick began a deeper exploration into portraiture, where he cultivated a signature style and portfolio of 'soft homoeroticism.' A term that perfectly captures the sensuality and vulnerability of his subjects in his images. Like many artists, Patrick leverages his personal experiences — including his observations, struggles, and growth as a queer man — to inform how he creates.

Patrick works to examine masculinity and presents an alternative perspective on stereotypical attributes often placed on the male form. Influenced by legendary photographers like Peter Hujar and George Platt Lynes, Patrick's art embodies the complexities of man's beauty and fragility. His work obscures the line between masculine and feminine while creating images that invites his audience to question their understanding of gender norms at an emotional level.
